May 2026 Beginners/Intermediate Stained Glass Weekend Workshop – Milngavie
In this two-day weekend workshop, I’ll guide you through the entire process of creating a beautiful stained glass panel from start to finish using traditional techniques that have been used for centuries. Over the course of the weekend, you’ll learn how to cut glass, shape and assemble lead, solder your design, and finish your panel with glazing.
The workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as intermediate makers looking to hone their skills. Class size is capped at just five participants, ensuring plenty of one-to-one guidance and giving you the opportunity to create a slightly larger or more complex panel if you wish.
You’ll be able to choose from a selection of designs, or work on a bespoke design, which we will discuss together in advance of the workshop. Projects can be tailored to your experience level—you may opt for a simple cut-and-leaded panel incorporating some traditional glass painting, or take on a more intricate cut-and-leaded design over the two days.
All tuition, materials, and tools are included. Drinks and snacks are provided—please bring a packed lunch.
The workshop is for adults aged 16+ and will take place at Art at the Grange, Milngavie, East Dunbartonshire.
Please note: Workshop places are non refundable. No refunds can be made to those who fail to attend a course in full or in part so please ensure you can attend every session in the workshop before booking.

In the unlikely event that I have to cancel the workshop, you will be given a full refund or may have the option of transferring your booking and payment to another event.
