Beginners Fused Glass Sun-catcher Taster Workshop
Come along for a relaxed, fun, and creative 4-hour fused glass taster session! You will learn the basics of glass fusing and make your own colourful 12cm x 15cm sun-catcher using vibrant Bullseye glass, frits and stringers. No prior experience is needed—this is a beginner friendly workshop where all skills will be taught from scratch.
What You Will Do:
Learn how to safely cut and assemble glass pieces to create your own unique sun catcher design adding hanging loops for display is desired.
Have fun experimenting with traditional glass paint and copper oxide powders to add fine detail and beautiful textures to your designs.
Your piece will be taken back to my studio at the end of the workshop for kiln firing. We will use a high-tack fuse which is a great place to start with glass fusing as it smooths and rounds the sharp edges of glass while still retaining the beautiful textures of your design. Fired glass pieces will be available to collect 1 week later or can be posted to you at additional cost.
All tools, safety equipment, and materials are included. Come along, try something new, and create a beautiful piece of glass art!
