One Day Glass-on-Glass Mosaic Sun-catcher workshop – Milngavie
In this one-day workshop, I’ll introduce you to glass-on-glass mosaic, a striking hybrid of traditional stained glass and mosaic art.
This versatile technique is easy to learn and produces great results using minimal materials and tools, making it ideal for complete beginners as well as those looking to explore a new glass skill. You’ll learn how to cut and arrange glass pieces, build up a design on clear glass, and finish your work ready for display.
During the day, you’ll create a small glass-on-glass mosaic suncatcher, complete with a hanging chain, ready to take home at the end of the workshop. There’ll be plenty of guidance throughout, with time to experiment and develop your design at your own pace.
The workshop is suitable for adults aged 16+ and all experience levels. All tuition, materials, and tools are included. A snack and drink will be provided; please bring your own lunch if needed. The session is offered at an introductory price, making it a great opportunity to try this technique for the first time.
